Our first visit to the Peak District, the area was lovely, people were really friendly. Plenty of walks direct from the cottage; did not need the car for the first 4 days. Chatsworth House and grounds lovely, also visited Bakewell, Eyam and Derwent Water, and visited Hardwick Hall. Arrived when the village were involved in 'The Well Dressing', although missed the last day!

The location was very good and close to shops, pubs etc. It was relaxing as it was quiet and peaceful. We would certainly return. Mr Johnson, Northampton, Northamptonshire May 2010
